At Pietential, we believe holistic wellbeing transcends the boundaries of
workplace, home, or social settings. It encompasses the entirety of our
human experience, reflecting our internal core as individuals.
Rooted in Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, the Pietential Holistic Wellbeing
Index (HWI) uses 20 science-backed questions, to assess your wellbeing
across five core domains: Self-Actualization, Self-Esteem, Belonging,
Safety, and Physiological. Each question covers a specific subdomain within
these domains. We don’t view these domains as hierarchical but rather as
interconnected aspects of holistic wellbeing.
Self-actualization captures the fulfillment involved by reaching one's fullest potential, with maximum development of abilities and deep engagement in and appreciation for life.
Subdomains: Mindset, Openness, Social Curiosity, Purpose
Physiological needs refer to fundamental biological necessities crucial for human survival.
Subdomains: Nutrition, Sleep, Activity, Environment
Self-esteem involves the assessment of one's thoughts and feelings about oneself, whether positive or negative.
Subdomains: Mastery, Identity, Self-Confidence, Self-Worth
Belonging entails feeling acknowledged and embraced within a social framework, often fueled by a sense of closeness or intimacy.
Subdomains: Family, Friendships, Social Community, Intimate Compassion
The safety factor encompasses feelings of safety and security derived from various aspects such as protection from threats, emotional and financial stability, social support, and overall wellbeing.
Subdomains: Physical Safety, Psychological Safety, Dwelling Safety, Spiritual Safety
The assessment takes just 3-5 minutes to complete, and afterward, you'll receive a personalized wellbeing visualization, feedback, and growth exercises based on your responses. Pietential also serves as your personal wellbeing journal, tracking your holistic wellbeing over time.
As you prepare to take the Pietential Holistic Wellbeing Assessment, keep the following tips in mind:
Reflect on the past month: Think about your life over the last month as you answer each question. This will give you a more accurate and meaningful understanding of your current state of wellbeing.
Rate each statement honestly: You will rate each statement on a scale from 1 to 10.
○ 1 means “I completely disagree.”
○10 means “I completely agree.”
○There are no right or wrong answers—just your personal experience and perspective.
Be authentic: This isn’t a test. It’s a chance to reflect on your life. Your wellbeing is unique to you, and the goal here is to understand where you stand across different areas of your life.
There’s no ideal score: You don’t need to aim for a specific number. This is about understanding your current reality, not about achieving a particular outcome.
