Help Shape Wellbeing
Risk Intelligence for VSOs
A working session on measuring veteran wellbeing, program efficacy, and organizational impact
12th November, 2026 | 12 PM - 1:30 PM ET | 90-minute confidential workshop
Veteran-serving organizations measure programs, participation, services, referrals, utilization, satisfaction, and outcomes.
But can you clearly see whether veteran wellbeing is improving over time — and connect that change to the impact of your work?
Join VSO leaders, veterans, advocates, funders, government partners, researchers, and the Pietential science team for a working session to help define what meaningful Wellbeing Risk Intelligence should look like for the veteran-serving ecosystem.
From Measuring Activity To Measuring Change
What VSOs already see
The question we want to explore
Is veteran wellbeing improving over time?
And what can that help us understand?
Help Us Define What Matters
We want to answer them with you.
What should VSOs measure?
What information actually helps you understand whether the people you serve are doing better?
What does efficacy look like?
What evidence tells your organization, funders, or government partners that a program is making a difference?
How should wellbeing factor?
Which organizational KPIs, program outcomes, funding measures, or other indicators would be valuable to examine alongside wellbeing?
Your input starts before the workshop
Tell us what you need to see.
After registering, you’ll receive access to a short pre-workshop survey about what your organization measures today, the outcomes that matter to you, and the information you wish you had.
Your responses will help shape the 90-minute working session.
Who Should Be In The Room?
THE CONVERSATION WE'RE CONTINUING
Quantifying Veteran Wellbeing
This workshop follows our recent conversation with Dr. Steven Crane, a USMC veteran and former homeless veteran, exploring how veteran wellbeing can be quantified beyond isolated program and service measures.
You do not need to have attended the first session to participate.
How do you know whether improvements in veteran wellbeing are translating into stronger program and organizational outcomes?
Join colleagues across the veteran-serving ecosystem who are working through that question together. This closed-door session gives you an opportunity to compare perspectives, identify the measures that matter and explore how wellbeing data could be connected to the outcomes your organization is accountable for.
