personal, organizational,
community, and
global growth.
Pietential is a democratizing force for personal, organizational, community and global well-being. We believe that all people are created equal, and that the root of global wellbeing and equanimity starts with the individual.
Pietential’s development is led by Dr. Amy Athey and a team of leading psychometricians. Following the American Psychological Association's Test Construction Guidelines, our platform meets the highest standards of assessment rigor.
Through robust psychometrically validated research, the Pietential Holistic Wellbeing Index has proven to be a consistent, valid, and reliable measure of holistic wellbeing.
Rooted in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and over 8 decades of foundational research, Pietential redefines holistic wellbeing as a transcendent concept—applicable across all domains of human life, from workplace to personal growth.
The Pietential Holistic Wellbeing Index (HWI) uses 20 science-backed questions, to assess your wellbeing across five core domains: Self-Actualization, Self-Esteem, Belonging, Safety, and Physiological. Each question covers a specific subfactor within these domains. We don’t view these domains as hierarchical but rather as interconnected aspects of holistic wellbeing.
Self-actualization captures the fulfillment involved by reaching one's fullest potential, with maximum development of abilities and deep engagement in and appreciation for life.
Subfactors: Mindset, Openness, Social Curiosity, Purpose
Physiological needs refer to fundamental biological necessities crucial for human survival.
